About the Alliance

The North Central Alliance for Youth is a regional collaboration of the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments (COG) and Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils from Caswell, Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance and Warren counties.

The Alliance focuses on reducing juvenile delinquency in the region by building a continuum of care for at-risk youth and their families. The regional approach is designed to leverage limited resources available to the county for maximum impact. The alliance helps assess the needs and resources of each county and coordinate efforts to address the common challenges they face.

The Alliance receives funding from the Governor’s Crime Commission and each of the six counties.
