Groups
Several working
groups will provide technical input to the JLUS Policy
Committee.
- GIS Working Group - will review
maps and make recommendations based on spatial data
analysis.
- Land Use Policy Working Group -
will review current land use ordinances, zoning ordinances
and development policies in place in the study area,
and will make recommendations to amend those policies
to meet the goals of the JLUS.
- Environmental Issues Working Group
- will review maps and data related to water and air
quality and wildlife habitat, among other data sets,
and make recommendations regarding protection of natural
resources through policy changes.
Working
groups will report to a Lead Technical Advisory Committee
(LTAC) comprised of the chairman of each Working Group.
This LTAC will report directly to the Policy Committee
with final recommendations.
