Regional Planning

The Kerr-Tar RPO region has several Comprehensive Transportation Plans underway. These plans are multi-modal vision plans meant to address transportation concerns in a specific area, usually a county or city, and make recommendations for solving those concerns over the next 25-30 years.

The CTPs underway right now are:

• Granville County, including Creedmoor, Oxford, Stem and Stovall.
• City of Louisburg
• Franklin County, including Bunn, Centerville, Franklinton, Louisburg and Youngsville.
• Warren County, including Macon, Norlina, and Warrenton.
