Clean Fuel Advanced Technology (CFAT) Project

 

The purpose of the Clean Fuel Advanced Technology (CFAT) project is to reduce transportation related emissions in North Carolina through education, outreach and emission reduction technology sub-awards to public and private entities responsible for transportation related emissions in eligible counties. The project is administered by the NC Clean Energy Technology Center (NCCETC)/NC State University (NCSU) with federal funding provided by the NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT).

The CFAT eligible counties served by the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments (COG) are: Franklin, Granville, and Person Counties. The Kerr-Tar COG’s CFAT program conducts education and outreach activities as one of five North Carolina education and outreach partners (EOPs) to enhance reach and effectiveness in reducing transportation related emissions in eligible counties.
