Mark Warren with Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments assisted in administering the grant Network South Inc. in Youngsville. With the re-location of Network South, Inc., Franklin County welcomes a new business. The company plans to add 10 more jobs in the near future. They purchased a vacant building at 457 Park Ave. in Youngsville and have renovated the property to accommodate their business.
This expansion is possible with the assistance of a Building Reuse Grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce’s Rural Development Division and supplemented with Franklin County support. A grant for $125,000 assisted with the renovation of the building with matching funds from Network South. The total investment by Network South is $806,074.
“It is exciting to see technology companies interested in Franklin County and we are thrilled that Network South has announced a new location in Youngsville,” stated Richie Duncan, director of Franklin County Economic Development. “Jobs and investment from Network South further demonstrates our growing strength in the network and security infrastructure ecosystem of the greater Triangle region.”
